How much does a private chef cost in Chicago?
Our culinary fee starts at $65 per guest for brunch, $95 per guest for family style dinners, $125 per guest for a three course plated dinner and $175 per guest for tasting menus. Groceries are quoted separately as one locked figure.
Do you cook for small groups?
Absolutely. We cook for gatherings of every size, from dinner for two to a full estate party. In home events under eight guests have a minimum culinary fee starting at $750.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Chicago and cook every week across the city, the North Shore and the suburbs. We also travel coast to coast for private dinners, celebrations and destination weddings. Travel is quoted separately.
What is included?
A custom menu designed with you, sourcing of premium seasonal ingredients, cooking and service in your home or venue, and kitchen cleanup.
Who will cook my event?
Every event is led by one of our head chefs. Your lead chef is confirmed on your estimate.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?
Yes. Share every restriction when you book and we build the menu around it without compromising flavor.
Do you offer drop off service?
Yes. Drop off brunch and comfort menus are available for groups who want great food without in home service.
Can we do a tasting first?
Yes. Private tastings start at $250 for two guests and include an appetizer, two entrees and a side. Larger tastings or additional dishes are priced to your request.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible. Weekends and holiday dates book first.
How do I reserve my date?
A 50 percent deposit reserves your date. The deposit is non refundable, but if you need to postpone, it is credited in full toward a new date within 12 months. The final balance is due 10 days before your event.
When is my guest count final?
Ten days before your event.
Do you provide servers or bartenders?
Yes. Additional staff is available and billed hourly.
Do you provide tables, linens or glassware?
Rentals are arranged by the client. We are happy to recommend trusted vendors.
Is gratuity included?
No. Gratuity is always the guest’s choice.
